It’s a hauntingly effective performance in Clint Eastwood’s brutal and blunt film.

Mike said on Saturday, January 31, 2015 10:37:15 PM"American Sniper" is at it's best when it is in Iraq. The battle sequences are very well filmed and do a good job of putting the audience in the heat of battle. However that's really the only positive thing I can say about the movie. A big flaw is the duel of sorts between Chris Kyle and the Iraqi sniper Mustaffa. That whole element of the story is just a ripoff of the better film "Enemy at the Gates". Clint Eastwood's 2006 and 2007 war films "Flags of Our Fathers" and "Letters From Iwo Jima" are better.
Charles Indriolosaid on Monday, January 19, 2015 5:49:51 PMI really enjoyed it and one of the best films of the year. But why is Michael Moore and Seth Rogen trying to crush this movie? I am as liberal as they come and do not see the validity in their comments. Any ideas?
