The humor even felt Dreamworks-ish. They had a "Your Mom" joke in it for god's sake! I thought Pixar was above that!
Daddy Guy said on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 11:30:37 PM I do not agree. I enjoyed this movie as fun, light entertainment worthy of the Pixar name. It seems Mr. Roeper cannot fairly evaluate this movie since he simply does not like the idea of talking animated cars. I also thought Mater was a great choice as the main protagonist as he is the most likable character in both movies.

The first movie was at least about cars... and what cars do best which is to drive/race. Seems like this movie touched on racing and then went off on tangents for the Spy Game story. This movie is probably the worse Pixar Movie yet. You know it is bad when the Toy Story Short is actually better than the entire feature film. J
Chris said on Sunday, June 26, 2011 10:32:47 PM I found the lines to be much more childish, especially in the beginning. There did seem to be an agenda against big oil and the need for alternative energy. I understand children are the future, but this is something that needs to be handled now and handled by adults. Keep adult topics out of kid movies
