Eric Robert Wilkinsonsaid on Friday, April 30, 2010 11:40:01 AMI really enjoyed Neil LaBute's blackly comic farce DEATH AT A FUNERAL. It was not even approaching good taste and I wouldn't go too far to defend it but the fact is I laughed a lot and the trailers made it look appallingly stupid. It is stupid - and hilarious. James Marsden is in particular a stand-out.
Pat Semonsaid on Friday, April 23, 2010 11:32:34 AMThe British version of this movie was 110% better than this version. Paying to watch this was nothing more than a waste of money!!!!
Emmett Gradysaid on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 11:44:16 PMI could have told you this movie was going to be awful by looking at the previews. Kick-Ass is another thing of its own. The previews don't do it justice. It's downright polarizing and at worst contains some amazing action scenes and great performances by Nic Cage, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz Plasse, and Mark Strong. Why no review? Do you see it as morally reprehensible? People said the same thing about A Clockwork Orange or the many Pulp Fiction knock offs, however none of them had a kid as a sociopathic killer.
