Rich, I thnik you don't watch a lot of action movies or like anything from the action genre for that matter. Contrary to your last statement, I thought Fast Five was inventive action film which then become more of a hesit film involving well-orchestrated action sequences with a lot improvessive show of muscle cars both old and new high performance or collector items. This Fast and Furious franchise as it evolves it pays tribute to all great hesit films like Heat and The Italian Job with layered characters and exotic/colorful locales. To make a long story short, I thought Fast Fast is a smart inventive action/heist caper all while avoiding the trap of redoundancy and predictability. Think about it!
Reply from Richard Roeper Carlos, Don't watch a lot of action films? Over the last 15 years I've seen more than 3,000 movies--including literally hundreds of action movies. Best, Richard

Lester Jones said on Friday, April 29, 2011 6:01:42 AM Richard: Miss you on TV with Roger. I notice that on occasion you don't review some of the more noted mainstream film opening. Is it just a matter you don't get to see as many movies as before for time and or logistic reasons? Either way, I value your reviews in any medium. Thank you
