Glad to see Big Bang Theory getting its first nom for coedmy series and Johnny G joining Jim Parsons in the acting category. Parsons is masterful w/his command of timing and complicated dialogue that he consistently delivers for big laughs and Galecki's work has deserved notice for some time. The entire ensemble is great, play off each other beautifully and runs like a top! It's time this show gets some notice! YEA!!!

First two seasons of FNL were good and very reflecrtive of a West Texas small town. They lost me a fan in season 3-5 when all of a sudden the small town of Dillon became a big city with its own ghetto and housing projects. What started as football in a West Texas small town turned into just another liberal piece of garbage with a wife running herd over her husband, a baby that looked like E.T. and Detroit-like teens. No way did it resemble what the movie and first two seasons looked like. Big flop after asserting the left-wing preaching. Too bad, but typical of Hollywood.

I sadly caught Friday Night Lights just before season five aired. Thankfully I caught myself up and was able to watch breathlessly as each perfect episode neared the end.
I have watched many television shows over the years and I can honestly say that few shows are as impactful, timeless, honest and life-affirming as Friday Night Lights was over it's five seasons. It never got as much respect outside of critics as it so rightly deserved or nearly enough viewers, but it will go down as one of the all-time great shows.

Loved this show, so sad to see it end but I will say that it was one of the best finales that I have seen in a while. They left everything open so if they ever want to pick it up again they can. It's like we got to peek into their lives for 5 years and now the window is closed and life goes on......
