Most people don't understand the role of a film critic. Like a handicapper of horse races, I attach myself to writers I share the same likes and dislikes with.
When I see my B+ film you gave a C to, I get why. That's the deal. Over the years, you, Roger, Gene, and Professor Turan here, have saved me many dollars over the years.
PS. What IS a noob?

Homefront is a gem! Statham takes hisplace in forefront of action. Films. Stallone has been doing his best work ever these past couple of years, gets better with age. Plausible AMD believable plot. Those are not "twists". That's channelling how people really behave!

Decently paced, run of the mill action flick. Nothing great. Nothing bad, either. Statham is dependable, if occasionally wooden. Stallone's script doesn't break any new ground, but its certainly solid.

Good Review. I had it slightly better, at C+ to B-.
My only gripe is that idiotic posts like Ronnie's should just be Deleted. You're too generous in your Reply.

Richard...your a noob. You think your criticisms are legit? Your just mad Jason makes more money than you. You don't know a good movie unless you watch a Barbie movie loser lol.
Reply from Richard Roeper
It's "you're," not "your." But ooh, that loser comment is BRILLIANT.
Try watching the review again, maybe in slow motion so you can understand it.
