There is no need to waste your life on this film. I believe this movie is a metaphor for the slow death you experience while sitting through it.
Tony Bliss said on Monday, November 21, 2011 5:21:32 PM I found the first 45 minutes tedious and borderline ridiculous, but the last 45 minutes were filled with the quiet tension and menace of the impending doom and the quiet, yet very emotional ways the characters deal with them. A brilliant ending to a delightfully odd and sometimes frustrating film. A true movie experience for the thinking person.

To Richard Roeper, Did you notice the significance of the photograph that Kirsten Dunst’s characters boss wanted her to come up with a tagline for and how it related to the end of the movie? Maybe without ignorance and bliss, Justine had knowledge rather than depression. POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
