I would be a little kinder to "Kick Ass 2" than Richard is and give it a "B". The movie is at least entertaining and the cast is very good. One thing I disagree with Richard on. I do not think Christopher Mintz-Plasse is miscast at all. I think he does a very good job as the Motherf---er. Despite Jim Carrey's regrets about starring in this movie, I think he was the best thing about it. I think the movie would have been a lot better if we saw more of Colonel Stars & Stripes. He was in my opinion, the film's best and most interesting character.

Mr. Roeper, you sir are my influence to be a movie critic and I have to say. You bring a valid point to this movie, it's pretty much just violent and a 'Comic Con gone insane' but that's pretty much the point of the movie. Which gets boring after a while

Well this comic book gone insane was one entertaining movie and one of the summer's best! Chloe Moretz owns the film, not the whiny Jim Carrey who apparently doesn't read the scripts to the film's he's making. B- from me.

I would give the film an A-. You say “All too often “Kick-Ass 2” plays like a Comic Con gone insane”, but what is wrong with that?
