I can finally cross "getting owned by Richard Roeper" off the ol' bucket list. Richard 1 Tizzy 0.

I think Dominic Purcell (Prison Break) did his best work ever in Killer Elite. Strawdogs, however he was horribly miscast as a slow dude with a crush on a much much younger woman.

I like the review you gave for Killer Elite, indeed one of the most overlooked gems of 2011. Still I was excited about this film after seeing the first trailer back in July, yes that long before its release date but I knew it was going to be a great film I looking forward to see. But I was kind of disappointed the way it performed at the box office only grossing $25M domestically as it opened on the same week as the heavily favored Moneyball, Dolphin Tale, & Dolphin Tale. And I agree Jason Statham and Clive Owen were equally terrific but it was the great Robert DeNiro who shined the most. Even though he didn't have as much scenes as Statham he still made the most of his role the way he handled himself in the action sequences reminding us of the hedays going up against Al Pacino in Michael Mann's Heat back in '96 also my favorite he still got it. Killer Elite is among the Top 5 films of 2011 along with Fast Five, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Limitless, and Warrior, another great but underachieving film. Keep up the good work, Rich and look forward to your next review.

Who exactly is Nucky Johnson?
Reply from Richard Roeper
I've seen every episode of "Boardwalk Empire." I know the chracter's name. I MISSPOKE during an ad-libbed review. It happens.
Thanks to all of you who have delighted in pointing out this error. I truly appreciate it.
