Johnny Brannon said on Thursday, July 12, 2012 3:43:49 PM Very good movie. I was surprised by the mixed reviews. I thought Pine's character should have come clean a little earlier in the movie.
John Arthur Beaman said on Saturday, July 07, 2012 6:28:26 PM I could have easily felt frustrated that Sam wasn't coming clean a lot sooner, but that quickly became a small point. There were just too many good things happening on screen to pick it apart for a minor problem.
Hunter said on Sunday, July 01, 2012 9:04:16 PM I found it hilarious how you basically you called the core cast, save Pine, ugly. Haha that was good
Reply from Richard Roeper Hunter: I was KIDDING. Obviously Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde and Michelle Pfeiffer are among the most attractive human beings on the planet.
Ben said on Sunday, July 01, 2012 7:51:22 PM Did anyone think the direction could have been a lot better? Performances, story, A. Direction, C. His shots felt forced, calculated--like he was trying to do something rather than doing it.
Steven Prout said on Friday, June 29, 2012 7:04:19 PM It says A- when you gave it an A.
Reply from Richard Roeper Thanks Steven. Fixed it.
Alan said on Thursday, June 28, 2012 9:52:26 PM Haven't seen it, but I read the script a while ago, and thought it was a well-written and intelligent script that offered rounded roles for its cast, giving them a chance to play comedy and pathos. I thought the trailer looked tacky, but I am glad to hear that K-dog pulled off the promise of his script.
