Smarmy. Dopey. Sloppy. Lazy. Creepy. Tone-deaf. Predictable. Embarrassing. Lousy.

Predictable? Really? Predictable?
Mr Roeper you watch movies for a living and should by now to be familiar with the politically correct doctrine that families once broken are not to get back together.
After seeing dozens of movies that dangle a re-union possibility in front of the audiences only to show that "It's better to be a broken family", I was sure the couple in this story would not end up together again.
Surprised, Yes, happily so.
As to the quality of the movie, I would say it was on a par with Miss Doubtfire but with the right ending.

Hi Richard, enjoyed the review as always. You make this movie sound as bad as Tommy Wiseau's "The Room". Is it really that bad?
