I haven't read the script, so I don't know, but I respect Newell and I know I have a lot of confidence in Disney. I'm pretty sure the marketing will be there, anyway.I'm just wondering if, in order to be true to the video game, it'll have The Prince repeatedly falling through the floor and impaling himself on spikes. That's what I remember most from the video game.
Jonathan Lemmon said on Thursday, September 23, 2010 7:20:16 PM I have to go with A.O. Scott on this one. As much as I love your reviews I can't bring myself to agreeing with many of your negative ones. I liked Prince of Persia a lot, I always love a good mindbending race against time movie. Especially when it's from Jerry. And I for one don't care about accents, they could have had hispanic accents and I wouldn't care. As long as a movie delivers the thrills, I consider it good. And even if I did know what a bronzer was, it probably wouldn't change the way feel about this movie either. But whatever it is, I'm sticking with my opinion and reccomending this film to anyone who's just looking for a mindless good time. My vote is a "B". Thank you for your time Richard:)
