"Rango" was one of the year's finest and "The Lincoln Lawyer" was a solidly-entertaining film. Definitely picked both of those up. I just rented "Arthur" based on your home video rental recommendation, but I have to respectfully disagree. I agree that it was completely unnecessary to remake "Arthur," and based on that I will say for it that it surprisingly has its heart in the right place, but I don't think that I laughed once. I think Russell Brand is appealing, but he is just recycling other characters he has done, and has no where near the same charm that Dudley Moore had. Since the romantic comedy genre has fallen greatly since the days of the 1981 "Arthur," this update just feels frustratingly routine and insignificant.
