Seriously Richard, how can you give this a B when it was one of the worst scripts in recent memory? It was as if 100 writers got involved last minute and tried to make something epic out of a non-epic. Scott should be put in the doghouse for trying to steal from his own Gladiator so much. Except this time it didn't work. D-.

This movie was awesome, the best version of Robin Hood yet. The story was pretty complex, maybe too complex for children. Slightly dark, gritty, striking visuals and totally badass. The acting was top notch, the action sequences were spectacular and astonishing as only Ridley Scott could deliver. I hope it makes enough money for a sequel. Don't compare it with Gladiator. I give it an A+ for an absolutely emersive experience.

Robin Hood got a B. That is crazy. The best I can give it is a D+. This movie breaks a cardinal sin for summer blockbusters. It was just so boring. It starts out going 90 miles an hour and then slows to about 5 miles an hour. I literally fell asleep. Then it picks up at about 50 mph. Then it was over. With Ridley Scott directing and Russell Crowe starring, this should have been the kick ass movie of the summer. It turned out to be one of the worse movies so far this year.
