Nice review. I just saw this on DVD and it is SOO lame compared to the original. I miss Durwood Smith and Peter Weller.

I agree with you Richard The first Robocop was much better than this one. This should have never been made. The first one had a story to go alone with the action. It was not just about the action the story back it up. I think this one was made just to show off the better special effects now in 2014 but that is not enough to save this movie, I really wish they stop making 80's movies Hollywood is doing a terriable job.

Far too kind to this remake. It went from a politically satirical, action packed, R-rated blockbuster with memorable lines and Peter Weller to a politically correct, bland, peppered with video game action and a dumb story. Gary Oldman was the best part of the movie. Good review, Richard.

Not as bad as I expected. Like the total recall remake, a good enough time waster.
