Michael said on Friday, March 19, 2010 4:30:58 PM I'm really happy Sandra took the Oscar for "The Blindside." Meryl was great as always, but Sandra may never get another chance at an Oscar. Meryl already has two and will no doubt win for a better performance in the future. I think some are confusing "gooey, gooey" with hearfelt and true. Miss you on T.V. Richard.
Dan Burke said on Thursday, March 18, 2010 9:42:39 PM You were right on the money on this one. You went with your heart, and I really wish Streep had won. You also didn't mention that not only is Bullock's performance like Julia Roberts' in "Erin Brockovich", but that "The Blind Side" was not that different from "Radio", "Remember The Titans", and other feel good sports movies. It just seems like every major critic forgot that fact, even though they said something to that effect in their reviews.

Pamela Knap said on Friday, March 12, 2010 6:17:18 PM I completely agree with you about Sandra Bullock's performance. The interest was in the character, not her portrayal. She is likable, but Meryl Streep was, and is, GREAT!
Chris said on Sunday, March 07, 2010 11:46:37 AM I agree with you 100 percent about Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock. I would hate to see Bullock win for this gooey, gooey movie. Also, I sure do miss your reviews on TV.....hope to see you back there soon!
