First half of the movie is great. Once Javier's character is captured, it becomes a mess.

I just saw the film and i thought it was great. The film is a little different than most traditional Bond films and it takes a contemporary approach to its story on how the enemy is everywhere now, especially in the post 9/11 era we live in today. I think this is the best Bond film so far and it starts out with a great action sequence and then the story goes in a way that is similar to The Hunted (2003). It was worth the wait from the last Bond film four years ago. I can't wait for the next one. Kudos to director Sam Mendes.

Entertaining, but from the point where javier bardem shows up to the conclusion of the movie, I felt like I was watching the Dark Knight. Whether it was bardem looking like heath ledger, acting like him, or that alfred-like caretaker at the old orphanage, or just the feel and tone and action sequences toward the end, mixed with the lack of style and subtely that supposedly signature Bond movies, I did not feel like I was treated to the bond franchise at the end.
