The Place Beyond the Pines knocked my socks off. Ryan Gosling was his usual: brilliant.

"The Place Beyond the Pines" is the best movie of 2013. The story is woven beautifully using a rich combination of a magical screen play, masterful direction & powerhouse acting.

Gosling, Cooper & Mendez bring such depth and complexity to their characters, often using few words and more actions to define themselves. Through the movie, we see that their lives are connected by chance. As a result, they are all scarred with deep wounds & some that never heal.

The movie reminds us that the lives of other people, can change the course of our own destiny.

Took the words right out of my mouth sir. This a very ambitious movie no doubt, but its one we definitely needed with lots of symbolism, themes and truly great performances.
