Katesaid on Sunday, January 09, 2011 2:34:14 PMI enjoyed this movie very much. I love Venice so I considered her to be another of the movie's stars. I figured out what was going on near the end of the film. I thought the stars had chemistry and I liked the plot twists. I guess there wasn't enough violence for most critics. They love the senseless violence as per Scorcese's over the top dramas and this one was a little lacking on that kind of violence for violence's sake.

I would have given it a B+ if not an A because it had everything in it from acting, direction, score, cinematography, AND even storyline. It kept me on my toes until the very last scene because I didn't get it untill Depp revealed that HE was the Pearce. Great suspense and it should be a movie of the year contender. 4/ 5 in my books.
