Loved this movie. It was perfect horror fun. Just what I wanted to see on the big screen-- a gloomy period setting with a super strong werewolf jumping from roof to roof!
One of the best monster movies of all time. A+

I agree with you 100% Richard!!! I felt that this was a very beautifully made film drenched in blood!! With the musical score by Danny Elfman, I felt as if I had returned to the Tim Burton world as this film brought back the idea of how Gothic style horror films like Sleepy Hollow and Sweeney Todd need to be respected!!! Thank you for appreciating this film for what it really is!

As a kid watching "Creature Feature" and "Svengoolie", "The Wolf Man" was my favorite of the old Universal monster classics, so I was pumped when I saw the trailer for the remake and disappointed when I heard many early reviews were negative. I did not see Mr. Roeper's review until now when I came back from the theatre thrilled and satisfied. Richard's review NAILS IT. Amen! This is a wolf man movie. The original certaintly was not a "masterpiece" of film making either, but it IS a classic and this 2010 version is better. It was a great ride.
