Ajcsaid on Sunday, September 21, 2014 5:57:17 AMI am an african american woman, so i must totally disagree with the comment from the previous person. I am all for supporting black entertainers, but truthfully the movie was not good at all. It was a far cry for help in comparison to the 1st. I am actually glad i got the rental for 1.27 and did not pay for it at the movies. Not everything is judged on race, this is judged soley on the storyline.
Not Surprised said on Saturday, June 21, 2014 1:21:08 AMThis is the typical white establishment review of a majority black cast film: call it lazy and clichéd as if romantic comedies are typically brimming with originality and then slip up and admit the acting and comedy aspects were actually good. Blah, blah, blah.... we have heard this REVIEW a thousand times before.
Reply from Richard Roeper Yes, and I've seen this movie a thousand times before. What I haven't heard is such a ludicrous, sweeping statement dismissing a review because it comes from they 'typical white establishment.' You can do better than that.
