I loved The King's Speech, though it's definitely a slower movie. Up in the Air is great, definitely my favorite George Clooney movie (though I haven't seen The Descendents). And I haven't seen The Beaver either, though I'm excited to.

When I first saw this movie, I did not like the ending. I think I was just too bewildered by what happens to Clooney to really catch the essence of what Reitman was trying to do. When I saw it the 2nd time and I saw the ending, where all the laid off employees are talking about what helped them through their hard time, I finally understood where this movie was coming from. I loved it.

I disagree. The movie is 2 in 1. The first half is very good, funny, witty and sharp. The second half is simply terrible, recycled cliches and scenes, terrible dialogue. It is like 2 scripts written by different people.
