Perhaps because we know all about how ruthless these characters are, nothing here is surprising or eye brow raising. It seems a stretch that bingo, the lead character just happens to be sleeping with Gekko's daughter. Talk about your plot contrivance. But mainly it was Shia is a tadpole swimming with the big fish, Brolin, Douglas, and he is out of his depth.
